A reminder of the Beautiful Awards given at past Bluebonnet Brew-Off Events. These are amongst the best awards in the world and are unique and different each year. Custom and hand fired ceramic steins with different artwork and color schemes means that every year is a new piece of Art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bluebonnet Brew-Off Year 1 – 1987 – NO STEINS!? This year was the inaugural, but apparently remained nameless. 52 (or so) entries were put in to be a challenge between the Dallas, Fort Worth, and Arlington Clubs<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Bluebonnet Brew-Off Year 2 – 1988 – A standard 16 ounce Glass Mug with etched logo was awarded this year. It sparked the creative juices in the Gerald “Moon” Hudson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bluebonnet Brew-Off Year 3 – 1989 – Photo of the winner of Sweet Stout Courtesy of Rob Stenson. The first steins! The Eagle is cut off in this photo, but you can see the work done on these commissioned pieces. Moon had the stripes at the top vary in darkness based on the SRM of the beers in the category.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
